2. Educational Purpose
RMN exists to provide educational, mentorship, and observational exposure in combat sports medicine Participation is strictly educational and does not constitute certification, employment, or authorization to practice medicine.
3. No Clinical Placement or Medical Authority
RMN does not place participants into clinical roles, assign duties at events, or direct medical decision‑making. All clinical authority rests with the supervising Ringside Physician designated by the host or sanctioning entity.
4. Participant Responsibilities
Participants must follow all instructions from supervising physicians and event officials, maintain professionalism, and comply with event rules. Failure to comply may result in removal from activities.
5. Scope of Practice and Legal Compliance
Participants must operate within their legal and professional scope of practice, including state licensure laws and Athletic Commission regulations.
Non‑physician professionals may not represent themselves as Ringside Physicians.
Residents and non‑certified physicians remain under the authority of the attending Ringside Physician.
6. Supervising Physician Authority
Supervising physicians retain exclusive authority over medical decisions, participant involvement, and supervision standards.
7. No Malpractice Coverage
RMN does not provide malpractice insurance for any participant or supervising physician.
Participants are responsible for their own professional liability coverage.
8. Assumption of Risk
Participants acknowledge the inherent risks of combat sports environments and voluntarily assume those risks.
9. Limitation of Liability
RMN is not responsible for clinical outcomes, medical decisions, or supervision decisions made during events. Participants release RMN and its leadership from claims arising from participation, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Membership and Chapters
Membership categories, voting rights, and chapter operations are governed by the RMN Bylaws. Chapters may not collect dues or enter contracts without national approval.
11. Intellectual Property
All RMN branding, educational materials, and website content are the property of RMN and may not be reproduced without permission.
12. Amendments
RMN may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
